Dr. Nichols has been a resident of the Inland Empire since 1973.  He graduated from Yucaipa High School, where he met the young lady that would eventually become his wife.  Dr. Nichols and his “High School Sweetheart”, Cheralyn were married in 1987, and now have three wonderful children, Jordyn, Janelle, and Tyler.  Dr. Nichols played collegiate baseball at Mt. San Jacinto Junior College, before transferring to Fresno State University to complete his Bachelors Degree in Biology/Zoology.  He then attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993.  Dr. Nichols was the first-ever resident accepted to Loma Linda University’s new Post Graduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry.  After becoming a Certified Pediatric Dental Specialist, Dr. Nichols opened his practice in Redlands, California in 1995. 

Dr. Nichols is very active in his church, community, and profession.  He and his wife volunteer in children’s ministries and Bible studies, he coaches his son’s baseball team and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Redlands Christian School.  Dr. Nichols is also a very active member and involved in leadership in many professional organizations, including Tri-County Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  Dr. Nichols is also a part-time faculty member at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Nichols enjoys spending time with his wife and children, going to Angels baseball games, cooking for his friends (wants to go to chef school), and playing golf, when he can.

 

Dr. Raelene Fulford is a native Floridian and is one of four children. She grew up working in her father's dental practice in Florida and knew from an early age she wanted to be a pediatric dentist.  Dr. Fulford earned her B.S. degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI in 1998.  Following college she lived in Costa Rica as a student missionary and taught English to seminary students and elementary school children for 6 months.   She then returned to the U.S. and worked as an events coordinator for a non-profit environmental conservation organization, Conservation International.  Dr. Fulford began dental school in 2003 and received her D.D.S. degree from Loma Linda University in 2007.  Her father had the special privilege of presenting her diploma as he is an alumnus of LLU School of Dentistry.  Following dental school Dr. Fulford worked for a year as a general dentist with both the adult and pediatric population before returning to LLU to specialize in pediatric dentistry.  In June of 2010, she completed a two year pediatric dental residency and received her Masters of Science in Pediatric Dentistry. 

Dr. Fulford holds active membership with the Tri-County Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. 

Dr. Fulford and her husband are both outdoor enthusiasts and spend as much time possible hiking, camping and backpacking.  Dr. Fulford enjoys entertaining her friends and loves to cook and bake.  She also loves adventure and enjoys traveling and visiting new places.   Dr. Fulford is passionate about musical theater and has been in productions at Lifehouse Theater and the Redlands Bowl including Beauty and the Beast and the Music Man.
